The Datadog integration brings session replays, error monitoring, and Real User Monitoring (RUM) analytics into Superhawk AI. Once connected, you can see exactly how trial users interact with your product, identify errors they encounter, and track performance metrics — all linked directly to the relevant trial.

Prerequisites

  • A Datadog account with an active RUM or APM subscription
  • A Datadog API key and application key (generated in Datadog under Organization Settings > API Keys and Application Keys)
  • Workspace admin permissions in Superhawk AI

Setup

Open integrations

Navigate to Settings > Integrations in your Superhawk AI workspace.

Find Datadog

Locate Datadog under the Analytics & Monitoring category.

Start the connection

Click Connect on the Datadog card.

Enter your credentials

Paste your Datadog API key and application key into the corresponding fields.

Select data streams

Choose which data you want to sync with Superhawk AI:
  • Session Replays — watch recordings of trial user sessions
  • Error Tracking — surface errors encountered during trials
  • RUM Analytics — pull in page load times, user actions, and performance data

Save

Click Save to activate the integration. Superhawk AI will begin syncing data within a few minutes.

Configuration Options

After connecting Datadog, you can adjust the integration at any time from Settings > Integrations > Datadog.
  • Data streams — enable or disable individual data streams (session replays, error tracking, RUM) without disconnecting the integration.
  • Datadog site region — if your Datadog account uses a non-default site (e.g., EU or US5), select the correct region so Superhawk AI connects to the right endpoint.

Troubleshooting

If the connection fails, verify that your API key has the correct permissions. The API key must have read access to RUM data, and the application key must be associated with a user who has access to the RUM and Session Replay products in Datadog.
If data stops syncing after initial setup, check that your API key has not been rotated or revoked in Datadog. You can update your credentials in Superhawk AI without disconnecting the integration.
