# Trials

> Understanding trials in Superhawk AI and how they help you track customer evaluations.

Trials are the core of Superhawk AI. A trial represents a customer evaluation period where a prospect is actively testing your product. Superhawk AI brings together everything related to that evaluation -- CRM accounts, session recordings, call transcripts, and AI-powered analysis -- into a single, unified view.

## Trial Lifecycle

Every trial in Superhawk AI moves through a lifecycle that reflects where the customer is in their evaluation:

* **Active** -- The customer is currently evaluating your product. Sessions are being recorded and data is flowing in.
* **At Risk** -- Superhawk AI has detected signals that the trial may not convert, such as declining engagement or negative sentiment.
* **Won** -- The customer has converted from trial to a paying customer.
* **Lost** -- The trial ended without conversion.

Superhawk AI automatically tracks these stages and surfaces insights to help you move trials toward a successful outcome.

## What You Can Do with Trials

Each trial gives you a centralized place to:

* View all linked CRM accounts and contacts involved in the evaluation
* Review session recordings to see how prospects are using your product
* Read AI-generated analysis of engagement patterns and sentiment
* Track key metrics like feature adoption and activity trends
* Get recommended actions to improve trial outcomes
