# Fathom

> Connect Fathom to bring meeting recordings and transcripts into Superhawk.

Fathom is one of Superhawk's two call recorder integrations, alongside [Gong](/integrations/conversation-intelligence/gong). Call transcripts are the single richest source Superhawk has, and connecting one is the highest-value step after your CRM.

## What Superhawk pulls in

* **Meetings** -- title, time, and attendees
* **Recordings and transcripts** -- the full text of what was said
* **Speaker attribution** -- who said what

## Connecting

  <Step title="Generate a Fathom API key">
    In Fathom, go to **Settings → API Access** and generate a key. It grants read access to your own and your team's meetings, recordings, and transcripts.

  <Step title="Open Integrations in Superhawk">
    Go to **Integrations** and find Fathom under **Conversation Intelligence**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Paste the key">
    Click connect and paste the key. Superhawk verifies it on the spot.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Wait for the first sync">
    Historical meetings are pulled in first. Depending on how many you have, this can take a while.

  The key grants access to your own and your team's meetings. Calls recorded by someone outside that scope will not reach Superhawk. If coverage looks incomplete, this is usually why.

## What it feeds

Transcripts are the backbone of most of what Superhawk produces:

* **[Signals](/signals/overview)** -- commitments, friction, blockers, and requests

* **Action items, adoption blockers, friction, and stakeholders** on the account
