# Chat

> Ask questions about your accounts in plain language.

Chat is the fastest way to get an answer out of Superhawk when you know what you want to know but not which screen it is on.

It has access to everything: accounts, health, signals, tasks, calls, emails, tickets, contracts, metrics, and [memory](/memory/overview). Answers cite what they are built from, so you can check anything before you repeat it to a customer.

## Where to find it

* **Workspace chat** -- ask about anything across your portfolio
* **Account chat** -- open from an account, already scoped to that customer

Scoping to an account is worth doing when you know which one you mean. It removes ambiguity from the question and usually gets you a sharper answer.

## What it is good at

**Cross-account questions the UI has no filter for.**

> Which accounts renewing this quarter have an unmet key outcome?

> Where has a champion gone quiet in the last 60 days?

**Digging into one account.**

> What has Acme said about our Salesforce integration?

> Why is this account amber?

> What did we commit to on the last three calls?

**Preparing for a conversation.**

> Summarise the last quarter for Acme in five bullets I can send to my VP.

> What is the strongest expansion case for this account, with evidence?

## Reading answers

**Check the citations.** Answers are grounded in your data and they carry their sources. Follow them before you quote a number to a customer.

**Ask for the evidence if it is not shown.** "What is that based on?" is a legitimate follow-up and it works.

**Narrow when an answer is vague.** A question about "our accounts" covers a lot. Naming a segment, a renewal window, or an owner tightens the answer considerably.

<Warning>
  Chat can be wrong, particularly when the underlying data is thin. Verify anything you are going to act on or repeat externally. The citations exist for exactly this.
</Warning>

## What it will not do

Chat reads. It does not send emails, write to your CRM, or change account records on its own. Where an action follows from a conversation, it becomes a drafted task in your [Inbox](/inbox/overview) for you to approve.
