# Accounts

> Accounts are the unit of work in Superhawk AI, and everything hangs off them.

An account is a company you work with. It syncs from your CRM, and it is where Superhawk collects everything it knows: health, signals, calls, emails, tickets, contracts, contacts, usage, and the tasks that follow from all of it.

Almost everything else in Superhawk is a different view onto accounts. Signals belong to an account. Tasks reference one. Briefs prepare you for a meeting about one.

## Your portfolio

**Home** is your account list. Each row shows the things you would sort or triage by:

* **Health** -- the current band, at a glance
* **ARR** -- annual recurring revenue from your CRM
* **Renewal date** -- when the contract comes up
* **Owner** -- the CSM or account owner
* Activity recency, open signals, and open tasks

Filter and sort to work the portfolio the way you actually work: everything red, everything renewing this quarter, everything you own, everything nobody has touched in a month.

<Tip>
  Sorting by health puts **insufficient data** at the bottom rather than mixed in with green. That is deliberate -- an account Superhawk cannot read is not the same as a healthy one, and it should not be able to hide among them.
</Tip>

## Account detail

Click any account to open it. What you see depends on the account's type.

### CS accounts

A live customer. The detail page leads with the **health verdict** -- the band, a headline, a short summary, and the specific factors driving it -- and then gives you the evidence underneath it, organised into panels:

| Panel                  | What it holds                             |
| ---------------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| **Calls** | Analysed call transcripts, with quotes |
| **Emails** | Thread history with the account |
| **Contacts** | Stakeholders, roles, and engagement |
| **Contracts** | Contract records and terms |
| **Support tickets** | Volume, escalations, and themes |
| **Action items** | Commitments made on calls |
| **Adoption blockers** | What is stopping them going deeper |
| **Friction** | Where the product is getting in their way |
| **Features & Modules** | What they use, and what they do not |
| **Signals** | Observations raised about this account |

See [Customer Success](/customer-success/overview) for how health and the CS panels work.

### Trial accounts

A prospect in evaluation. The detail page is organised as tabs:

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Hawkeye View" icon="binoculars" href="/accounts/hawkeye-view">
    The summary read on how the evaluation is going.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Key Outcomes" icon="bullseye-arrow" href="/accounts/key-outcomes">
    What the prospect said they need to see, and whether they have seen it.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Feature Usage" icon="chart-column" href="/accounts/feature-usage">
    Which features they are exploring, and which they are not.
  </Card>

  <Card title="User Breakdown" icon="users" href="/accounts/user-breakdown">
    Who is actually in the product, and how the usage is spread.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

See [Trial Accounts](/accounts/trial-accounts) for how trials work now.

## Where accounts come from

Accounts sync from your connected CRM. You do not create them by hand in Superhawk -- the CRM stays the system of record for which companies exist, who owns them, and what they are worth.

If an account is missing, the usual causes are that it is filtered out by the owner scope on your CRM sync, or that the CRM record does not meet the sync criteria. See [Common Issues](/troubleshooting/common-issues).

<Note>
  Superhawk never writes back to your CRM without you approving it. A task can draft a CRM update, but the update only lands when you act on it.
